completed my Rheumatology & Internal Medicine speciality training in the East of England in 2013.
I undertook my junior doctor training in Swansea. Having obtained membership of Royal College of
Physicians London (MRCP) in March 2007, I commenced higher specialist training in Rheumatology & General

inflammatory arthritis associated lung diseases MDT service. I have been involved in more than 60 clinical
trials utilising biological therapies for autoimmune conditions. My other main interests include early
inflammatory arthritis including ultrasound use and metabolic bone health. Over the past five years, I
have authored over 100 abstracts, presented at international conferences and published more than 25 papers
in peer reviewed journals.

If you have any of the predisposing conditions such as psoriasis, uveitis/iritis, inflammatory bowel disease and you develop joint pain, it could be spondyloarthropathy. I lead on research in such conditions
If you are over 50 or younger with high risk factors such as chronic disease, steroid use or hormonal disorder, you will need bone health screening. I lead innovative metabolic bone health service

If you have multisystem complaints e.g. rashes, ulcers, breathing problems with joint/muscle pain, it could be connective tissue disease. I lead a multi-disciplinary service and can help you
Having seen Dr Nisar over a number of consultations I’d highly recommend his services. Knowledgable, decisive, and with the experience to communicate effectively, he made my diagnosis and treatment options as simple as possible to understand and absorb. He provided useful and directive information for my GP to continue my treatment as well as good advice on how to navigate the transition between public and private healthcare options.

June 14, 2023, 9:25 a.m.I felt really heard by a doctor for the first time in quite a while. I felt very comfortable and confident that Dr Nisar was able to look at my symptoms and current medical conditions holistically. Very appreciative also of the clear letter of instruction shared with my GP.

June 3, 2023, 7:33 p.m.Big thanks to Dr Nissar. I decided to go private due to the long NHS wait for a Rhumatoid consultation at the hospital. I was in excruciating pain all over. I never called the manor as I imagined the cost was going to be high, but I couldn’t carry on and decided to call. If someone had told me 12 weeks previously that it was not expensive at all I would not have waited. Dr Nissar was great. Immediately recommending a course of treatment with a 3 week follow up. I could hardly walk in the room on the first visit and by the second visit I nearly overtook him in the corridor. He obviously cares about his decisions as he had a bigger smile on his face than me on the second visit. My mobility is 100%. A great job considering it’s been nearly 6 weeks since the Manor and my hospital NHS appointment still isn’t until next week. Thank you Dr Nissar. P.S If you are reading this review "Don’t wait" Life is too short to be in pain when the help you need is readily available at a price that can’t be calculated against your quality of life.
